POLICIES
RESPONSIBILITY
Hikers should be in good health as we cover from 2 to 6 miles at "llama speed". Children are welcome but should be in the company of a responsible adult who assumes complete responsibility for the child's whereabouts and safe conduct at all times. Children must be able to walk the distance of the day's hike since the llamas cannot be ridden.
SPECIAL TRIPS
Our day lunch hike takes place in the breathtaking Chattanooga-Oconee National Forest. Please let us know and we can plan a special trip to accommodate your interest.
WHICH WAY DID HE GO
We will meet at the trailhead or a specified meeting place. We will e-mail a map with the exact location to meet, as well as, notifying you via phone.
PRIORITY ONE : SAFETY
We value your safety during our hikes; thus, we have chosen our trails with this in mind. Our guides are veteran hikers trained in advanced first aid and CPR. In case of accident or illness, they will aid the ill or injured person until medical help arrives or evacuation is executed. Any cost of evacuation (helicopter, etc.) and of the medical care beyond first aid are the financial responsibility of the ill and/or injured person. We advise each hiker to review their medical insurance coverage before taking part in a trek. Remember Safety is top priority!
INSURANCE
Llama Trails, Inc.'s liability coverage requires all hikers to sign a release form pertaining to the assumption of risk. Each prospective hiker must read and sign the statement assuming such risks. Parents will be required to sign for children under the age of eighteen.
CANCELLATION OF TRIP NOTICE
For the welfare and safety of all of our customers, we reserve the right to cancel or change a trip at anytime as trail and/or weather conditions dictate, or due to lack of participants.
